The Fashion Industry is the SECOND LARGEST polluter in the world, on account of the unethical practices of corporations and businesses.

As demand for fast fashion continues to increase, catastrophic events within the environment continue to worsen. Environmental disasters, such as - wildfires, droughts, heatwaves, and floods, are occurring on an everyday basis around the world. Fast fashion is partly to blame.

In addition to the environmental crisis, there are major ethical concerns that are also being ignored. With the United States being the number one consumer of fast fashion, the pressure put on garment factories increase day by day; fueling avaricious sweatshop owners to overwork and underpay their employees in unsafe working conditions. The factory conditions include health and safety hazards - exposure to toxic chemicals during the textile production, along with facing physical and verbal abuse, that has led to many deaths and incidents.
